Hello! 👋 My name is Pierre, and I am currently an engineering student specializing in cybersecurity.
Education
During my studies, I had the valuable opportunity to spend a year
as an exchange student in Stockholm 🇸🇪, Sweden. Beyond improving
my language skills, this experience allowed me to immerse myself
in a new culture and to discover a different approach to learning.
While in Sweden, I studied natural sciences at Viktor Rydberg Odenplan (VRGO).
After returning from Sweden, I continued my higher education in
computer science, focusing in particular on networking as well as
programming in C and C++. Today, I am pursuing my engineering
degree in computer science with a specialization in cybersecurity
at HEIG-VD
🇨🇭.
Technical skills
Throughout my studies and previous experiences, I have developed
strong proficiency in C and C++. I also possess extensive
knowledge of PHP and JavaScript, which I have applied in various
academic and personal projects.
My work on different projects has given me the opportunity to
interact with a wide range of databases, both relational and
non-relational. The web has always been a domain of special
interest to me—not only for its apparent simplicity, but also for
its underlying complexity, which offers endless opportunities for
growth and improvement.
I am familiar with web security concepts and regularly apply
secure coding practices in my development work. I have hands-on
experience with version control systems like Git and have
participated in collaborative development environments.
My technical toolkit also includes scripting with Python and Bash
as well as a great knowledge of Unix/Linux environments, both of
which are valuable for cybersecurity 🔒 and automation tasks.
Experience and Involvement
I have had the opportunity to work with several clients on a
variety of projects, allowing me to apply my technical skills in
real-world settings and adapt to different needs and contexts. In
addition to these freelance collaborations, I completed a six-week
internship as part of my studies, where I gained valuable
experience working within a professional company environment.
I also participated in 2022 and 2025 in the Hacking Health event in Besançon, an innovation marathon focused on healthcare
challenges, where I contributed my technical expertise and
collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to develop creative
solutions.
